加州山火賑災捐款呼籲

California Wildfire Disaster Relief Appeal

Earlier this year, I wrote an appeal letter to you about contributing to our disaster relief efforts in partnership with the California Southern Baptist Convention (CSBC) related to the devastating wildfires that was sweeping through some parts of the Greater Los Angeles area. The fires have since been put out but leaving behind many destroyed homes, churches, businesses, and livelihood in ashes in its wake. It is estimated to be the costliest natural disaster in the US.

We want to thank you and your churches in opening your hearts and wallets in response to this tragic disaster. As of 3/24/2025, we have received a total of $42,277.89 from Chinese Baptist churches and individuals. Thank you for your generosity.

The CSBC Disaster Relief Team is working with churches and other relief agencies in the affected areas to meet the needs of those affected. Please click here on their Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/CSBCDR/ for some of the things they have done and are doing.

We are open to continue receiving contributions for the Southern California Disaster Relief until March 31, 2025.

When using Zelle, please indicate your name and specify that the fund is for “CA Disaster Relief”. If you need a receipt for your contribution, please include your email address as well in the memo.

Let’s keep praying for our brothers and sisters, their families, churches, and those affected by this disaster, that they will experience the abiding presence and provision of the Lord, and to be drawn to Him for peace with Him as they rebuild.
