親愛的牧師、教會領袖、主內弟兄姊妹們平安：
Several months ago, when two successive earthquakes that registered 7.8 and 7.6 on the Richter’s scale struck the Türkiye-Syria border which caused, massive losses of lives and property, we wrote an appeal letter to you to help raise funds from the Chinese Baptist churches in North America to be sent to SEND RELIEF, an agency of the Southern Baptist Convention specializing in mobilizing resources into disaster areas worldwide. Such efforts would provide opportunities for Gospel conversations with a people who have been resistant to the preaching of the Gospel in their midst.
幾個月前，當連續兩次在里氏量表(Richter’s Scale) 上錄得的7.8級和7.6級地震，襲擊土耳其及敘利亞邊境，造成大量人員和財產損失，我們給您寫了一封呼籲信，目的從北美的華人浸信教會籌集捐獻資金，送往SEND RELIEF（一個附屬美南浸信會的賑災機構，專責動員救援人員及資源進入世界各地災區），祈望借著這樣的愛心行動，讓當地一直抵制福音的人群有機會聽到福音，感受神的愛。
Today, we have sent on your behalf a check of $69,336.14, representing funds that we have collected up to July 20, 2023 which also closes our fund-raising efforts for the region.
