POSITION TITLE: Church Pastor
HOURS: Full Time or Negotiable
POSITION REQUIREMENT: Full time pastor preferably with a Baptist leaning from a conservative evangelical seminary who can speak Cantonese and English. Have burden towards reaching local ethnic Chinese and Asian population for Christ.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITY: Shepherd the church in accordance with God’s Word through preaching, teaching, discipling, and overseeing the spiritual needs of the congregation. Directing spiritual education and guiding along with the deacons and elders in church management and administration.
COMMENTS: Family Bible Church (FBC) is a small Chinese ethnic church that uses English in the worship service. It has an average attendance of 50 people and has Sunday school classes for all ages in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. FBC is associated with the Southern Baptist and a member of the local Baptist Association.
