金門神學院成立於1944年，1950年成為南美浸信會(SBC)的官方神學院，通過合作計，什一奉獻，捐贈和其他SBC的禮物得到支持，教學是根據浸信會的信仰和立場聲明。
Founded in 1944, Gateway Seminary became an official seminary of the SBC in 1950. Gateway is supported through the Cooperative Program, tithes, offerings, and gifts from the SBC. Instruction occurs in accordance with the Baptist Faith and Message statement of faith.
